A SUPERB, TOP FLOOR APARTMENT in the recently completed Les Trois Glaciers development in the lovely ski village of Montchavin. This is a rare opportunity as it is one of the few apartments to be sold on a freehold, rather than leaseback, basis so there are no restrictions on how often you can use the apartment. At just under 69 sq. m, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a shower room and fitted out in a modern, contemporary style this apartment would make a STYLISH SKI HOME. The Montchavin piste runs past the residence and it is a 150m ski down to the Montchavin chairlift that links into all of La Plagne, Les Arcs, PARADISKI; truly one of the world’s great ski areas.
The apartment is on two levels. The lower floor offers an entrance hallway leading to a lounge/diner with fitted kitchen, a bathroom and a separate WC. There is a south-facing terrace off the lounge area. Upstairs there are two twin bedrooms, a cabine bedroom with bunk beds, a further bathroom and a shower room. The apartment comes with an underground parking space, ski locker and a cave for storing personal items. It is a 5 minute walk down into the village whilst a free shuttle bus also runs from opposite the residence to the village.. A STYLISH HOME IN THE MOUNTAINS FOR A FAMILY OR A GROUP OF FRIENDS.
Montchavin is a delightful ski village that still retains its rustic, farming charm---and smells!! The cobbled main street offers a variety of ski shops, a choice of restaurants including a great value Pizza place, a couple of bars, a well stocked supermarket and even a cinema which does show films in English. On the outskirts of the village, away from all the accommodation there is even a nightclub. The ESF and, well regarded, Evolution2 ski schools both operate in the village. For 2009/10 the well-known Base Camp bar is being extended. This is a great village for families, quiet, safe and yet with easy access to world class skiing. The slopes above Montchavin are tree lined and a great place to ski in bad weather, whilst a series of fast chairs link you into the high altitude, La Plagne skiing. From the top of the Montchavin chairlift it is a one-minute ski to the incredible Vanoise Express gondola that whisks you over to Les Arcs in only 4 minutes---amazing! Access from the village is via the 4 man Montchavin chairlift or the “yellow bubble” Les Coches gondola. It is possible to ski to both these lifts from the Trois Glaciers residence. The slopes above the village are north facing and hold the snow well; recent investment in artificial snow making also has done much to maintain the snow throughout the season.
