Property Description

The bustling and pretty riverside village of Taninges is just 11 kms from Samoens and the la Grande Massif ski region. Just a moment from the village centre along a riverside path is this charming maisonette.

You enter into the newly fitted kitchen which although “petite” offers all the mod-cons with enough room for a breakfast table and chairs. Along the corridor is the first bedroom with built in cupboard and a shower-room and WC.

Upstairs to the first floor you arrive in the lounge area which looks out over the river. Up a second flight of stairs you arrive at the second bedroom. This cosy holiday home is offered in a fantastic location at a great price!  This would offer income as a year round holiday let, being close enough to the ski resorts for winter rentals.

It is under an hour to Geneva and the international airport.

Samoens

Resort Description

Samoëns is a beautiful village, listed 88th in the French National Office of Historic Monuments, and the only ski resort in France to be so listed. The impressive Grand Massif mountain range surrounds Samoëns, and the rich fertile countryside has established long-standing agricultural roots. The Giffre River runs through the valley and there are several lakes which provide the focal points for some of the numerous walks in the area. Samoens is a village, not just a ski resort so is busy and vibrant all year round, with an impressive range of restaurants, cafes and bars catering to all tastes as well as a widely varying selection of shops and other amenities.
