This quality beautifully decorated two bedroom ski apartment with family bathroom, makes an ideal ski base for those looking for an authentic village feel whilst enjoying the world renowned skiing of the Three Valleys. The light airy living area with open fireplace is further enhanced by the adjoining sunny terrace with views of the Vallée des Encombres.
The apartment also has a garage and ski locker and the communal area of the building has a pool room, gym and table tennis room.
The location is less than a 3 or 4 minute walk in normal shoes to the village centre but would take a little longer to the ski lift, perhaps 8 to 10 minutes in ski boots carrying skis, as it’s uphill. However as you have your own generous garage underneath the building it is easy to drive up to the free parking opposite the gondola which takes you up to link into the Meribel and Courchevel ski areas as well as giving easy access to the rest of the Belleville valley which includes Les Menuires and Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in France. The winter season stretches from Dec 12th 09 to April 25th 10, but you can extend this if you drive up to Val Thorens which opens from Nov 21st 09 and closes in Mid May – A very nice bonus for the keen skier!!
Out of the total twelve apartments there are just 2 remaining. The building is located in a pretty area of St Martin de Belleville where locals still keep their cows and chickens in vaulted rooms under their houses giving a very relaxed and authentic feel to the place. The village itself is a small community with some decent restaurants and bars. Not the glitz of neighbouring Meribel and Courchevel but the locals know how to have fun and there are live bands most nights. Roads are kept clear all winter and you have your own generous garage space underneath of 14,85m2. The shared communal space includes a lift, stairways and communal pool (game), table tennis and gym rooms.
