Tucked behind the old village of La Daille at the entrance of Val d’Isere this block of apartments faces south to the roc de Tovieres. The studio apartment of 27m2 is on the ground floor and the terrace steps out into the snow. There is space at the entrance of the apartment for your boots, skis and boards so you can nip across the parking, across the road to the Funival funicular, Etroits chairlift or Daille bubble within 2 minutes.
La Daille is particularly well known for the OK piste which makes up part of the Mens Downhill World Cup circuit and the La Folie Douce mountain restaurant bar which is famous for its clients dancing on tables in their ski boots to the loud live music, rivalling any Austrian ski-boot-bop!
La Daille is separated from the main town centre of Val d’Isere by one of the Nordic skiing and walking tracks and it will take a good 10 minutes to walk there. The Train Rouge ski bus runs regularly throughout the day until midnight so this is great for evenings and nights out in some of the fantastic restaurants or fun, lively bars or nightclubs that Val d’Isere has to offer.
The apartment is part of a residence on the left hand side of the road as you arrive in La Daille. The residence has a swimming pool which you can use and the concierge will have a wealth of information and help about various events and facilities on offer in resort if you need it.
The accommodation comprises of a bedroom area which you enter from the front door, it is currently open plan, but you could cordon this off to create a bedroom. There are storage cupboards and a bathroom with bath, WC and handbasin off to one side and you then go through to the living area. This is nice and bright as it opens up on to the terrace which faces south. The kitchen/dining is equipped and opens up on to the sitting room. The sofas convert in to single beds and there is an extra single bed stowed underneath one of the sofas, making room for 5 people.
The apartment would make a great investment property as you could easily rent it out to weekly lets or even to seasonal staff if you preferred regular and consistent income. Equally it would make a great pad for a couple or small family looking for an apartment in one of the most highly renowned ski areas in France, the Espace Killy.
