New build ski chalet with 4 bedrooms, just over 1km to the Petit Bois lift to La Rosiere
Please note; this chalet has been dramatically lowered in price. It does require some internal finishing work and outside landscaping . It has been priced to reflect that this work needs doing
We now have a written quote from a well known local builder for the work needed to make the chalet habitable. To finish the plumbing and electrics, install the chimney and finish some stonework and plastering has been priced at 35,000 euros.
A FABULOUS CHALET IN A FABULOUS POSITION. Absolutely stunning views. THis chalet was originally on the market at over 1million euros
This ski chalet built in local Savoyard style using local stone, wood and stone tiles on the roof and with old wooden beams and reclaimed wood used on the interior. With 4 en-suite double bedrooms and a separate guest WC at the entrance hall, this ski chalet would make a great family holiday home or could be an investment for someone looking to rent at the prestige end of the market
You will notice this striking new ski chalet as you are driving up the mountain, approaching the village of La Combaz. It is perched high in an imposing position giving commanding views across the Tarentaise valley towards Villaroger and the Paradiski and up towards Ste Foy and Val d’Isere. The chalet shares access with the luxury chalet next door so no need to worry about what might be developed.
You enter the property in to a reception area with good space for depositing ski boots and skis, in fact there is room for a boot warmer and ski rack. Through in to the main hallway where you are immediately greeted by the light and sunshine which floods through the full height windows of the living area. There is a WC and entrance to the large double garage from the hallway. The garage could be converted into another en-suite bedroom area whilst keeping one internal parking space.
Up a half set of stairs to the open plan living area with a fireplace in one corner. The whole of one side of the living area is floor to ceiling glass with large sliding doors leading on to the suntrap balcony. There is another half set of steps up to the kitchen area where you could also put a dining table. The kitchen has not yet been installed; the flexible layout means it could be put in the living area leaving the upper area as a dining area/TV area.
Going downstairs from the hallway you will find the first of two double en-suite bedrooms which both have views across the valley: the largest has its own private balcony so could be considered the master. The bathrooms are spacious and have been fitted with good quality, neutral but contemporary suites.
Down a further set of stairs to the next two double bedrooms, again facing south with the same beautiful views. The first of these two bedrooms is a large double with its own large terrace whilst the second has terrace doors opening on to the garden. The same modern, stylish bathroom suites or walk-in showers have been installed in these bedrooms.
There is a utility room which also houses the boiler and hot water tank and the space here could also be utilised as a sauna, spa or leisure area. It is also great storage for owner’s possessions if the property is to be rented .
There is a large garden to the front of the chalet and some off-road parking at the entrance.
