Located in the Chamonix valley in the Haute-Savoie region of France, just 10kms away from the swiss border, it is arguably the best (expert) ski resort in France with fantastic off-piste skiing and awe-inspiring scenery. Argentiere ski resort is on several smaller resorts that make up the Chamonix ski area. Argentiere is a small alpine town with many amenities with good shops and great restaurants. On the slopes there are 30kms of prepared slopes with 16 runs and the terrain is particularly suited to expert skiers and snowboarders. The long season runs from November to May because of the high altitude and it is conveniently situated around an hour from the International Airport at Geneva.
