Built in 1997 this chalet is in a great position and has been designed to get maximum benefit from the lovely Alpine sunshine. The day starts with the morning sun and breakfast out on the private back terrace. It continues with the mid day sunshine on the balcony for lunch and ends with watching the sun disappear behind the mountains from the end of the balcony. The mountain views are amazing.
Le Biot is quaint and peaceful and nestles into the stunning scenery of the French Alps and remains seemingly untouched by time, having the dreamy, tranquil air that many of the larger alpine villages lost years ago. Le Biot is deceptive, though, as although it appears to have no connection to the frenetic ski resorts that are so well known to all, this little village actually lies in the very heart of Les Portes du Soleil, one of the largest linked ski areas in the world. It has got a bakery small bar, a cheese shop and a ski hire shop.
The chalet is over 3 floors as follows:
Ground Floor Entrance Hall with a tiled floor, stairs up to the living space and doors to:
Bathroom, fully tiled with bath, separate shower cubicle, hand basin with cupboards underneath and on the side.
3 double bedrooms, 2 with a window or a door to the front with views over the mountains and 1 with a window to the side.
Stairs down to the cellar. Basement 25m² storage area with a tiled floor, a laundry area and a separate shower room with a hand basin.
First Floor This is an open plan sitting/dining room with the open kitchen in one corner. There is a flue for a wood burner.
The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob and an integrated fridge.
There is a door out to the back garden that gets the morning sun and French doors out onto the terrace/balcony on the side of the chalet. This is a protected outside space with uninterrupted views over the mountains.
Separate wc.
Mezzanine
There is also an enclosed mezzanine with a window that is used as an extra sleeping area.
The garden all around the chalet has got mature trees and shrubs and the front drive up to the chalet has recently been extended to give more space for cars to park and turn around.
