You can walk to the ski lift from this apartment for sale in Morzine but it is on the free bus route too. It has lovely views over Morzine itself and you can watch the torch light descent from the balcony in the winter. The apartments were built in 1982 and had a new roof 5 years ago. New kitchen and bathroom 3 years ago.
You enter into the large open plan split level living space which is 24 m² and has doors onto the balcony which has panoramic views over Morzine towards Avoriaz.
The kitchen has a Brant cooker and a Smeg extractor and has space by the entrance door for a fridge freezer with storage above.
Steps go down to the sitting room which has got built in shelving that separates it from the kitchen/dining area. The bedroom currently has twin beds in it but would easily accommodate a double bed.
The hand basin in the shower room is in a vanity unit and the plumbing for the washing machine is in here too.
On the floor below the apartment there is a storage cave that is lockable and shared with the other 5 apartments in the block and a large private cave as well.
The charges are 144 Euros a month and that includes the hot water. The heat is from electric wall heaters.

Morzine and Les Gets are tree lined family friendly ski stations that are part of the vast Les Portes du Soleil. From Avoriaz you can access 650kms of runs sprawling across 12 areas, seven in France and five in Switzerland. There are 273 marked ski runs as well as 216 km of cross-country trails.

Flights come into Geneva which is just over an hour from Morzine
By car it’s about an 8 hour drive from Calais.

Situated mid-way between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva, the ever popular resort of Morzine is absolutely stunning, well known for its Alpine scenery, nestled between forests and summits. Life is leisurely, and the village although vibrant and bustling has lost nothing of its original charm and Savoyard way of life. Ideally situated right in the middle of the Portes du Soleil, Morzine is the gateway to a marvellous winter playground of 650 km of ski-slopes where you can ski from French into Switzerland and back again all in one day. When it comes to lunchtime you are spoilt for choice with all the mountain restaurants scattered everywhere.
In summer, these slopes become sign-posted footpaths for trekking and moutain biking. Originally life in Morzine was one of agriculture and slate-mines but with the opening of the ‘Grand Hotel’ (first tourist hotel built in the 1920’s) and its owner François Baud opened up a new opportunities for the village and it’s in habitants. Then in 1934 the Pleney cable car was opened and the thick covering of snow started some previously unknown sports: tobogganing, ski-jöring (towed behind a horse), the beginnings of downhill skiing and even ski-jumping!
If ski or snow boarding instruction is the order of the day there are avariety of French and English speaking Instructors in the ski schools.
There is a vast array of shops, bars and restaurants, offering plenty to non-skiers as well and for after ski fun. This makes Morzine a good all year round resot for those who live here and those with Holiday homes.
