What a lovely apartment, decorated and furnished to a high standard in a modern, contemporary style and situated in a small, 5 storey residence. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a terrace offering lovely views over the valley towards Mont Blanc it really does offer excellent, family ski accommodation. The lovely village of Les Coches (1450m) is at the heart of the fantastic La Plagne, Les Arcs, PARADISKI ski area which offers an amazing 425 km of piste and a wealth of off-piste possibilities.
The accommodation is all on one level. Originally designated as two smaller apartments that were then developed into one it offers a spacious layout and nicely separates the living area from the sleeping area. An entrance hallway leads to an open plan lounge with dining area and fitted kitchen as well as a shower room and WC and some excellent built in storage solutions. There are three double/twin bedrooms and a further bathroom with WC. Throughout the apartment quality wooden flooring, (tiled in the bathrooms) and stylish fixtures and fittings have been used. A large terrace, 17.5 sq.m is found at the front of the apartment and, of course, the residence offers ski locker facilities. A first class ski apartment in excellent decorative order that would make a superb home in the mountains for a family or a group of friends
Les Coches is a family friendly ski village that has been developed in a sympathetic chalet style. There is a pedestrianised heart to the village with a variety of ski shops, restaurants, a couple of bars (including the excellent The Last One) and a good supermarket. Access to the slopes is via the 6man Plan Bois chairlift or the Lac Noir gondola or “white bubble” as it is known. The new Telebuffette gondola now links the chairlift to the Lac Noir gondola; great news for pedestrians and beginners alike. A short walk from the apartment—less than a minute—allows a short ski down to the chairlift and the Telebuffette gondola and you can ski back to this point. If you want you can walk a minute or so up the road and ski down the piste to the lovely village of Montchavin The local ski area offers some excellent tree lined pistes that are great in bad weather—as is the excellent Plein Soleil restaurant for that cosy lunch by the fire. High altitude La Plagne is accessed by a series of chairs and the amazing Vanoise Express gondola whisks you to Les Arcs in 4 minutes. Both La Plagne and Les Arcs offer something for everyone with fast ,wide cruising pistes, tougher black runs and off piste for the more experienced skiers and a choice of terrain parks for boarders to play in.
