Authentic barn with 120 m² of living space over 3 floors + cellar. Facing SOUTH-EAST and NORTH-WEST, it is located in the charming village of Montagny on the sunny side of the Bozel valley.
A virtual tour and a sample layout are available.
This pretty stone barn, with a surface area of about 120m² spread over 3 levels, could be transformed into a beautiful mountain haven with its stunning views and sunshine. This barn has lots of character and is located in the heart of the village of Montagny Chef Lieu. The barn benefits from fantastic views to the SOUTH-EAST and NORTH-WEST.
The charming village of Montagny is located 13 km from Courchevel (3 Valleys ski area) and 10 km from Champagny (Paradiski ski area). With a pre-school and primary school and a grocery shop you are only 5 km from the village of Bozel where you will find all the amenities: Free shuttles to the Courchevel ski area and 3 Valleys, supermarket, bakery, butcher, doctor, pharmacy, restaurants, bars, sports shops...

A beautiful place all year with highly defined seasons and quiet and tranquil out of the ski season when the crowds have gone home, and then suddenly once again each winter the mountains of the Three Valleys come alive with people enjoying this vast ski area... The largest linked skiing in the world. The Three Valleys ski domain provides more than 600km of runs and probably the same again off-piste. In fact it should now be called the Four Valleys with the link into Orelle (Maurienne Valley) which can be accessed by ski from Val Thorens. This has also opened up some extraordinary off-piste runs. The Three Valleys provides direct links between the ski resorts of St Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Méribel, Mottaret, La Tania, Brides les Bains and the four Courchevel resorts, la Praz, 1550, 1650 and the world famous 1850 - and now Orelle, in the fourth valley - all under one ski pass offering on-piste skiing from 1300m all the way up to 3200m. As these figures show the Three Valleys ski area offers huge altitude differences favouring long run skiing. It has an ultra efficient, state of the art ski lift system, quality piste preparation and a dense artificial snow making system (1920 snow cannons) complementing the excellent natural snow cover. However, if you are not a fan of downhill skiing or like some variety during your stay then you can also roam the domain at your leisure on foot, hiking along the marked trails, or using the pedestrian ski lift passes. Many trails have been created especially to enjoy the increasingly popular snowshoeing sport and to discover the valleys from a new perspective: flora, wildlife, monuments, and spectacular scenery. There are also many cross-country skiing tracks that are prepared and maintained each day. These allow you to take in the breathtaking scenery and provide the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the mountains away from the pistes. An interesting and wonderful area all year round, there is much more here than the snow sports.
126 properties in Three ValleysChampagny-en-Vanoise is rather special. Its part of the enormous National Parc de Vanoise, a truly beautiful and breathtaking wilderness and it is linked in to Paradiski – one of the largest ski areas in the world. The village is charming. It is a traditional mountain village and has kept, for the most part, an authentic feel. Champagny Station is at an altitude of 1250m so runs back to the village can get a bit scratchy, but this is OK because you can catch the cable back down. Here you’ll find a range of shops, bars and restaurants. It’s all pretty low key and very much aimed at families. There is also Champagny le Haut at 1450m a glorious village that makes you feel as though you’re stepping back in time. When I was last up there I was so captivated I turned into a tourist and started taking pictures. This is a preserved valley, classified in ‘the natural monuments and sites of France’ for its beautiful countryside and the preserved architecture of its villages. It is also the Gateway to the National Park of Vanoise (the oldest National Park in France, founded in 1963) and one of the most beautiful sites for cross country skiing and Nordic activities in the region. Champany offers a lot more than downhill skiing, there is nordic skiing, snow shoe walks, ice climbing, parapenting, sleigh rides and much more. So from the resort centre you leap on the cable car which can have queues in peak season but once on, 8 minutes and you’re off on your skies. It takes skiers to the Southern slopes and the vast area for boardsports of la Grande Plagne: 225km of pistes for all levels between about 2,000 and 3,000 metres. You can ski on the sunny Southern slopes of Champagny, perhaps on the Bellecôte glacier or in the forest around the villages opposite Mont Blanc, wherever you ski there is plenty here to keep all levels of skier entertained.
