## PLANNING PERMISSION HAS BEEN APPLIED FOR TO BUILD AN EXTENSION TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CHALET TO ADD A 4TH BEDROOM, AN EN-SUITE BATHROOM AND A TERRACE ABOVE WITH SPACE TO ADD A JACUZZI. ARCHITECT PLANS WILL BE AVAILABLE ##

This property has recently undergone a full renovation with the design and finish executed to an impeccably high standard. The chalet is built in the traditional Savoyard style, combining the local stone and rustic wood facia’s, stone tiled roof and wooden shutters on the windows.

The ski resort of Sainte Foy Tarentaise is nestled among the trees and a firm favourite for having a vast variation of pistes, off piste and ski touring routes.

With its North-West exposure the snow quality in Sainte Foy is exceptional.
Set between 1550m to 2620m, offering 800 hectares of forest and high altitude areas with 26 pistes of varying difficulty. The resort is perfect for beginners, intermediates, expert skiers and a real haven for free riders too with access to sensational off piste. Accompanied by a professional guide, enjoy skiing through virgin snow on the well-known routes such as Le Monal or the north face of Fogliettaz (nearly 2000 m of descent).

Sainte Foy also has lots to offer in the Summer from hiking through the forests and to the summer villages such as Le Monal, mountain and electric biking with the chairlifts offering an uplift, mountain Karting and Pentanque.

Dining in Sainte Foy offers a diverse mix of high quality cuisine, from Savoyard Alpine Mountain Restaurants, to Convivial sharing of Wine, Tapas and Fondue, to private dining experiences to suit all tastes and budgets.

Entering the chalet from the rear, you are immediately greeted by the quality and high specification. In the hallway there are bespoke designed storage cupboards to the left and stairs that lead up to the living area to the right. Digitally controlled under floor heating throughout the chalet offers both comfort and ease.

From the hallway, on the ground floor level, you will find the 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom faces West at the front of the property with the magnificent views across to the mountains. It has integrated wardrobes with rustic, bespoke wooden doors, downlighters to create the ambiance and quality oak engineered floors. Leading into the en suite bathroom consisting of a large bath with built in shower, glass screen, electric towel radiator and a large sink sunk into the modern drawers.

Bedroom 2 reflects the high quality interior and fittings in the master bedroom, this time with an en suite shower room, tiled floor and walls.

The third bedroom is a quirky designed bunk bed room, with rustic hand made bunk beds made on a right angle to maximise the space for storage. It has an en suite shower room and a separate WC can be found off the hallway.

Entering level one from the stairway the semi open plan area greets you. You are immediately drawn to the lounge dining area and through the glass patio doors onto the balcony. From here you really will be mesmerised by the breathtaking views across to the Mountain ranges of Mont Pourri and the Aiguille Rouge (the summit of Les Arc) . This beautiful chalet stands proudly high above the centre of Sainte Foy Ski Station and looks down from the balcony into the nucleus of the resort. Set just 10m away from the piste it is a very short run down to the first lift “plan bois” to whizz you up the chairlift past the chalet.

The lounge diner is a large, open plan living area, flooded with natural light from its treble aspect windows. It is finished to the highest spec and showcases the beautiful vaulted, exposed wooded beam ceiling.

The kitchen can be found to the rear of the living area and exhibits a superior designed luxurious u shaped working area. It consists of granite work tops, quality fitted units and high end appliances. A further window to the rear of the property adds even more light to this grand, delightful space.

The boot and ski room can be found via a separate external door next to the main entrance. The combined use of traditional “old look” wood, along with modern storage solutions continues throughout this magnificently finished room. There is also an electric boot warmer and continued under floor heating.

Living Room = 35m2
Kitchen = 19m2
Bedroom 1 = 12m2
Bedroom 2 = 12m2
Bedroom 3 = 6m2
Boot Room = 12m2

The chalet has land to the front and rear and parking for at least 2 cars to the side of the property.

All the furniture can be included in the price, which would therefore make this property “turn key” and ready to move straight in with no works required.

About Ski area of this property

Ski Area : Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise

Ste Foy Tarentaise offers something increasingly rare in the Alps — a sense of tranquillity and authenticity. It’s a resort where you can ski fresh powder days after a snowfall, enjoy panoramic views of Mont Pourri and the Aiguille Rouge, and feel genuinely connected to the mountain environment. For many, Sainte-Foy is not just a place to ski — it’s a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience winter in its purest form. The village retains a traditional alpine charm feeling more like a community than a tourist complex, with cosy restaurants, wood-fired chalets, and friendly locals. Après-ski is relaxed — think vin chaud by the fire, fondue or raclette dinners, and small bars rather than nightclubs. There are also luxury chalets and boutique lodges, many with spa facilities and stunning mountain views, making it a favourite among those who prefer understated elegance over glitz. Known as a hidden gem for off-piste and powder skiing, the resort has about 1,000 hectares of skiable terrain, but its charm lies in the freeride zones and tree skiing that expert skiers love. Routes like the North Face of Fogliettaz or the descent to the village of Le Monal offer incredible backcountry experiences. For beginners and families, the groomed runs are wide, uncrowded, and sunny — ideal for learning in a peaceful environment. The multiple ski schools and small lift queues make it especially family-friendly. It’s not only about skiing, other winter activities to enjoy include snowshoeing through the forests or to the historic hamlet of Le Monal; Ski touring for more adventurous mountain lovers; Heliskiing, with drops over the border into Italy; dog-sledding, ice climbing, and guided nature walks to explore the untouched wilderness. In summer, Sainte-Foy Tarentaise sheds its snowy coat and transforms into a tranquil alpine haven — a place where wildflowers replace powder fields and the rhythm of the mountains slows. Ste Foy’s summer charm lies in its authentic mountain life. Local farms produce Beaufort cheese, and small markets sell honey, jam, and charcuterie from the region. For the adventurous, the surrounding area offers paragliding, white-water rafting on the Isère, climbing, and canyoning. Naturally, it’s a gateway to some of the most beautiful hiking routes in the Tarentaise. From gentle walks to challenging climbs, there’s a trail for every ability. If cycling is more your thing, there are numerous, famous cols to wind your way up or mountain biking routes including lifts open to whisk you up high. Throughout summer, the village hosts fêtes and local events — simple, joyful gatherings celebrating alpine traditions, music, and cuisine. The Eurostar offers a regular service to Bourg Saint Maurice which lies at the foot of Sainte Foy Tarentaise, from here a taxi transfer can be arranged. Local airports are Lyon (135kms), Geneva (130kms). Chambery (75kms) and Grenoble (115kms).
