The regular ski shuttle (navette) connects the village to the slopes, and Guillestre—with its shops, restaurants, and amenities. In winter, it is sometimes possible to ski to the front door down a forest track from the resort.
Rarely do properties of this quality and charm become available in the area. This is a unique opportunity to own a beautifully crafted Alpine chalet with one of the most stunning views in the region.

The Vars/Risoul ski domain, La Forêt Blanche, is ideal for a family holiday, offering 180km of varied pistes, excellent ski schools, and dedicated kids’ zones. Tree-lined slopes provide a safe, scenic setting for all abilities.
The chalet is located next to Guillestre, the closest town to the Queyras Regional Natural Park, famous for the ancient chateau and the 7 micro ski stations which can be accessed with one weekly ski pass.

Ski Area: Vars - Risoul (Domaine de la Foret Blanche)

Vars is a picturesque ski village which is connected by piste to Risoul, making up an impressive 185 kms of piste. They are located in the heart of the Southern Alps just beside the historic town of Guillestre, which is the gateway to the Queyras National Park. This whole area is relatively unknown in foreign ski circles, but popular with skiers from the south coast of France, as it is only 2 hours away. The villages are authentic but still have all of the facilities found in more expensive, more exploited ski resorts.
